A decade after it ended, Scrubs is back–sort of. Stars Zach Braff and Donald Faison are launching a new podcast that looks back on the series. The real-life best friends will revisit the series, one episode at a time, recounting their experiences on the show.
The podcast, titled Fake Doctors, Real Friends with Zach + Donald, sounds a lot like a Scrubs version of The Office Ladies. That podcast sees The Office stars Jenna Fisher and Angela Kinsey rewatching episodes of their former show.
“The idea of gathering our fans all around the world together and revisiting the series episode by episode sounds like so much fun to us. Each week we’ll tell behind the scenes stories, share experiences from our friendship and have lots of special guests,” Braff said in a statement, via The Hollywood Reporter. “We’ll also be taking live fan questions over the phone. We can’t wait to laugh with our Scrubs family.”
“I am really excited about this. It’s going to be a lot of fun, and I can’t wait to talk to you all about such an important and amazing time in our lives. Get ready and tune in,” Faison added.
The podcast is being produced with iHeartRadio, which will release a new episode every Tuesday. In fact, the first episode is available now on the iHeartRadio platform. Soon enough, it should be available on podcast apps everywhere.
While we all struggle to changing routines thanks to shelter-in-place orders and social distancing in the United States, some people are creating high-quality content, like Jack Black. The musician and actor took to Tik Tok and posted a video of him dancing shirtless.
At first, a man dancing on a mini-half pipe in his backyard on a social media site already filled so many people dancing may not seem like high-quality content; however, Black’s dedication and intensity brings the art of dance to new levels. Okay, maybe it doesn’t, but it’s a very entertaining watch. Check out the video from Tik Tok below, which was also posted on Instagram.
Black’s dance routine should bring a smile to your face, especially when his cowboy hat falls off his head. His Tik Tok account is filled with silly videos like this, Black playing a child’s saxophone toy, and skateboarding, making many, many silly faces. If you need a little cheering up, you can’t go wrong with his Tik Tok or his Instagram account.
Speaking of Jack Black, his latest movie–Jumanji: The Next Level review–is now available on Blu-ray and DVD. Additionally, you can pick it up digitally through various retailers. In GameSpot’s Jumanji: The Next Level review, Meg Downey said, “All told, Jumanji: The Next Level just never manages to find enough a solid enough foundation to make things work the way they ought to. Sure, you’re going to probably get a handful of decent laughs and, if you’re a person who plays video games, you’ll catch more than a few clever nods to various genre conventions and story tropes, but there just isn’t enough meat on those bones to make its 2 hour run time worthwhile.”
Update: Despite having no discount whatsoever, the $450 Nintendo Switch starter bundle at GameStop is now sold out, which just goes to show how high demand is for the console right now. The Switch Lite starter bundles are still available. We’ll update this story if we see the Switch bundle back in stock.
Original story follows.
The Nintendo Switch is currently seeing a major shortage, the likes of which we haven’t seen since its release in 2017. People are clamoring to get their hands on the console, most likely due to being stuck inside because of the coronavirus pandemic as well as the timely release of Animal Crossing: New Horizons. The $300 console is currently sold out pretty much everywhere, unless you’re looking to pay $400 or $500 for the system on its own. However, GameStop is now offering “starter bundles” for the Nintendo Switch and Switch Lite–unfortunately, if you’re interested in just the console by itself, you may end up with a bunch of stuff you don’t want.
The Nintendo Switch with red and blue Joy-Cons (new model) is bundled with a physical copy of Animal Crossing: New Horizons, a Nintendo Switch Pro Controller, and a code for $20 Eshop credit. The entire bundle sells for $450, which happens to be the exact value of all the items in this bundle. It’s disappointing there’s not even a slight discount for buying all of these items together. In fact, when you consider that the Pro Controller is regularly on sale for $59 at Amazon, the bundle is about $10 more than you might pay for all these items separately. The catch, of course, is that the Nintendo Switch can’t easily be bought for $300 on its own anywhere right now. So if you’re looking to get your hands on this console and are even remotely interested in Animal Crossing, this is still a solid choice, considering the circumstances.
According to the GameStop listing, the Nintendo Switch starter bundle will ship by April 30. These days, many non-essential goods are seeing major delays in delivery, so a guaranteed ship date of April 30 isn’t terrible. You won’t be charged for your order until the bundle ships.
The Switch Lite is still in stock at a few retailers, but GameStop also has some starter bundles available for the smaller, handheld-only system. The Switch Lite starter bundles include Animal Crossing: New Horizons, $20 Eshop credit, and screen protectors. The bundles are available for $290; once again, that’s the exact value of the items included. Three Switch Lite colors are available as bundle offers: Yellow, Turquoise, and Gray. The Switch Lite bundles ship within 24 hours, according to the listings.
According to Nintendo, Switch consoles will be restocked in the near future, but there’s no word on exactly when that will be. “Nintendo Switch hardware is selling out at various retail locations in the US, but more systems are on the way. We apologize for any inconvenience,” Nintendo told GameSpot in an email statement. Hopefully, we start seeing the system back in stock at retailers soon.
Sequels are a big part of Hollywood, and the horror genre, in particular, is defined by franchises and follow-ups. It’s not unusual for a horror series to reach 5 or 6 movies–or, in the case of long-running franchises like Halloween or Friday the 13th, double figures. However, horror series rarely get better as they continue–everyone has their franchise favourites, but for the most part, scary sequels tend to be lazy retreads of past glories, churned out quickly to cash in the success of the original before the public moves on.
But, of course, there are occasional exceptions. Wes Craven’s Scream was one of the biggest horror movies of the 1990s–it hit theaters in December 1996 and quickly became a critical and commercial smash. The sequel followed the following year, but just as Scream wasn’t an ordinary slasher movie, so Scream 2 wasn’t an ordinary slasher sequel.
Scream 2 was once more directed by Craven and written by Kevin WIlliamson, and from the very start, it fully embraced its sequel status. As in Scream, characters make regular references to the conventions of horror movies, only this time, the focus is on the way horror sequels attempt to outdo their predecessors. “There are certain rules that one must abide by in order to create a successful sequel,” says the character Randy (Jamie Kennedy). “Number one: the body count is always bigger. Number two: the death scenes are always much more elaborate. And number three: never, ever, under any circumstances, assume the killer is dead.” Wise words Randy.
Like the first movie, Scream 2 was both clever and scary, commenting on the genre while still working highly effectively as a scary movie. It was another box office smash too, making more than $172 million worldwide. The late ’90s saw the release of numerous teen horrors influenced by Scream, such as I Know What you Did Last Summer and Urban Legend, but few of these had the wit, style, and scares of the first two Scream movies. So here’s everything you didn’t know about Scream 2–and once you’ve read this, check out GameSpot’s guide to the first Scream.
Developer Ubisoft Montreal has dropped a new Rainbow Six Siege update on the PC test server that makes several adjustments to the tactical FPS’ operators and more. We’ve compiled the full patch notes below.
Many of Siege’s operators have been tweaked for balancing purposes. Characters like Buck and Ying have seen their claymores replaced with other throwable explosives, while Caveira has a new customization item for her M12 SMG and Jager has been changed to make him “a bit less oppressive in-game.” Further, Mozzie’s “Super Shorty” secondary has been removed, and the TCSG12 shotgun’s damage has been decreased.
Elsewhere in the patch, Ubisoft addressed a number of bugs that continue to plague the game. These include barricade replication issues that cause rubberbanding, minor menu and shop visual problems, clipping issues, and others.
Buck – More keys, more open doors, more opportunities.
Frag Grenades replaced with Claymores
Increased Skeleton Key Magazine Capacity: Skeleton Key magazine capacity increased to 5 + 1, Skeleton Key max ammo count is now 25+1
Buck brings an exclusive soft breaching capability to his team that makes him the best at what he does, and we feel having Frag Grenades on top of that is a bit too much. The Claymore should reduce the punch in his kit from the frags, but do more to provide cover while he is soft breaching.
Caveira – More customization!
We feel like the Razor is a great addition for the M12 due to the good visibility it grants while aiming and gives it more customization options.
Jager – We are listening to your feedback. Thank you.
Jager is a very strong roamer and multiple data points demonstrate his huge presence in-game. To make his presence a bit less oppressive in-game, we’re looking to moderate that by reducing his roaming potential.
Mozzie – Still a shortie <3.
He is currently a powerful intelligence-counter and is a great roamer in the same breath. Altogether, this gives him very high game presence as a single Operator and we’re looking to tone down just how much he brings to his team.
Ying – Giving our girl Ying a bit more love.
Increased number of Candelas to 4 (up from 3).
Replaced Claymores with Smoke Grenades.
Increased T-95 LSW damage to 46 (up from 43).
Ying’s presence is still lower than expected even after improving her candelas in the Y5S1. We hope that giving her kit some more juice in her gadgets and weapon should help her out on that front.
TCSG12 (Kaid, Goyo)
The TCSG12 as it is now can currently kill any operator with 2 shots. We’re adding an extra magazine while reducing its power to give more firefight stamina without being overly punishing.
Bug Fixes
Fixed – Barricade replication issues that caused rubberbanding and/or throwable objects to bounce off destroyed barricades.
Fixed – Game boots with DX11 when players manually select the Vulkan executable in the Steam installation folder.
Fixed – Dynamic Play button does not update properly when the last match was on an Event/Discovery playlist.
Fixed – Players can clip inside excavators in EXT Construction Site of Oregon.
Fixed – Minor menu/shop visual fixes.
Fixed – Gris charm missing from some players’ inventories.
Fixed – Zofia’s birthday gift skin not applying properly to the LMG-E.
A limited-time PlayStation exclusivity deal for a Call of Duty game isn’t anything new, this has been the tradition for the franchise since 2015. Normally, however, the PlayStation exclusivity is only in regards to multiplayer–either a certain mode is limited to PlayStation at the start (like Spec Ops Survival in 2019’s Modern Warfare) or PlayStation gets access to certain content updates first (like in 2018’s Black Ops 4).
Play alongside Soap, Shepherd, Ghost and other familiar faces as you fight back against Vladimir Makarov, the Inner Circle, and other unforeseen foes. Download Modern Warfare 2 Campaign Remastered and play now on PS4. Pre-purchase for other platforms today to play on April 30. pic.twitter.com/i4GAKjmJgp
For a whole single-player campaign to launch for one system first is a new one. Sure, when Modern Warfare Remastered first released as a standalone campaign, it was a PS4 limited-time exclusive too, but it was also already available as a free add-on for buying certain editions of Infinite Warfare. You didn’t have to wait for the Xbox One and PC versions back then, you just had to wait if you wanted to get it on its own. In comparison, people looking to play MW2 Remastered on Xbox One or PC do have to wait as the game isn’t bundled in with any other Call of Duty title.
Regardless, if you’re looking to pick up MW2 Remastered and you have a PS4, you can buy it right now on PSN for $20 USD.
In regards to MW2’s campaign, Chris Watters wrote, in GameSpot’s Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 review, “The inelegant campaign plot may make you feel like you’re just along for the ride, but it is such an intense, roaringly great ride that you will be glad just to have played it.”
Persona 5 was a very long game even by RPG standards, and the updated version Persona 5 Royal is even longer. It earns its lengthy runtime by integrating social sim elements and RPG dungeon crawling to tell a heavy story and develop its characters. With a brand new story arc that includes an extra palace (dungeon) and series of events, P5R will be taking up a lot of your time.
I’m currently in the process of reviewing the game and have finished it, including all the new story-critical content. According to the overall play time on my save data at the very end, Persona 5 Royal took 125 hours to finish.
The aforementioned story-critical content alone (the new palace and semester of events) added about 18 hours to the original game’s runtime. This could range between 15 to 20 hours depending on your own pace.
Keep in mind that I played through the original version of Persona 5 twice in the past, meaning I was already familiar with most of the gameplay systems and what I should do on certain in-game days. However, I also took my time to make sure I got the most out of the game and its new content. Those who are experiencing the game for the first time may have a longer runtime, especially if they’re trying to be thorough.
It’s possible to finish the game and experience all the new stuff with a shorter hour count than me, but you’ll likely spend over 100 hours regardless. P5R’s biggest chunk of new content does come toward the end of the game, and there’s a simple sequence of events that you have to follow to make them available to you, otherwise you’ll follow a similar conclusion as the original version. We have you covered with a spoiler-free guide on how to unlock Persona 5 Royal’s new palace and semester.

The Mother of Dragons, Emilia Clarke, is asking the internet for help to raise £250,000 for her charity, SameYou, and its COVID-19 relief fund. SameYou primarily helps people who suffer from brain injuries. But, the donations will go toward helping free up hospital beds for those affected by the global pandemic.
Known for her role as Daenerys Targaryen on HBO’s Game of Thrones, Clarke took to Instagram to ask for contributions for her cause. She adds that 12 individuals will be selected at random to have a virtual dinner with the breaker of chains herself.
“We’re going to put together a store cupboard dinner. Together, we’ll cook it, and then we’ll eat it together,” Clarke said in her post. “We will discuss lots of things. Isolation, fear, and also funny videos.”
As a survivor of two brain aneurysms, Clarke started SameYou to provide awareness and help for people who have suffered brain trauma and strokes. The money raised from the COVID-19 relief fund will create virtual rehabilitation clinics for brain injury survivors, with the aid of Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital in American and UCL in England. The goal is to ensure patients can receive proper treatment at home while making more beds available in hospitals.
“100% of your generosity will fund virtual rehab clinic support in the coming weeks,” Clarke said. “A very big task and a very big ask but you are all very big-hearted souls so I know you’ll want to help me help them!”
If you want a chance to keep your food unburnt with “The Unburnt,” donate for the opportunity to dine with royalty while helping a noble objective.

Gamescom will take place this year, according to the event’s organizers, but whether or not that event will be exclusively digital or not is still under review.
Gamescom is one of the largest video game conferences in the world and unlike other events in the space, namely E3, it hasn’t yet announced a cancellation or postponement of its 2020 show as a result of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. The companies behind the show, Koelnmesse and the German Games Industry Association, otherwise known as Game, jointly posted a statement Tuesday to let consumers and developers alike know that Gamescom will take place in some form this year.
“Millions of fans worldwide are excited about Gamescom 2020,” Game Managing Director Felix Falk said in a statement. “That is why we are determined to celebrate the latest news, announcements and world premieres together with the community again this year at the end of August. In view of the corona crisis, we are now expanding all digital formats at full speed so that gamescom 2020 can at least take place digitally in any case.”
Falk said fans can expect Opening Night Live and the Gamescom Now Portal to return as the event determines how to expand its digital strategy. Gamescom will still take place from August 25 to August 29 with the Devcom Developer Conference still set for August 22 through August 24.
A mid-May evaluation will take place to determine how Gamescom can move forward with its usual Cologne-based presence, if at all.
“If an on-site event is possible, there will also be more information at that state with regard to which changes need to be made in order to fully ensure the health of all visitors,” the statement reads. “This has been arranged with the largest exhibitors, therefore all gamescom plans are continuing at full speed.”
